Presentamos la portada de un tomo retapado por la Editorial Novaro. Los tomos retapados se usan para aprovechar restos de series, usando como portada la de su edición SUPERMAN 124 (en NOVARO) correspondiente al ACTION COMICS 216 de Mayo 1956 dibujada por Curt Swan & Stan Kaye, con la aventura titulada "La superamenaza de Metropolis" (curiosamente esta aventura lleva el mismo titulo que la primera historia del SUPERMAN 134/1). Pertenece a la mejor etapa del Grupo Editorial Novaro, presidido por Luis Novaro, en su edición denominada "Ediciones Recreativas S.A." distribuido en España por "Queromón Editores" de Madrid. Observar cómo en la esquina superior izquierda está en blanco, no aparece el característico triángulo con las letras "ER" de Ediciones Recreativas.
En el interior hay recogidos cinco ejemplares sin ningún tipo de orden. El primero es el SUPERMAN 112 (numeración de Novaro) correspondiente al ejemplar americano ADVENTURE COMICS 223 de abril 1956 y que Novaro ya reeditó en su colección LIBRO COMIC Nš25/6. La aventura se titula "El nuevo Hércules" y está protagonizada por Superboy o, usando terminología de Novaro, por Superman en sus aventuras juveniles, estando dibujada por Curt Swan. En el interior del tomo viene la portada del ejemplar, inmediatamente después de la del tomo.
El segundo ejemplar que reproduce es el SUPERMAN Nš113 de Novaro, correspondiente al SUPERMAN NO.108 de la colección americana, también de septiembre 1956. Las tres aventuras del interior son: 1. "El cerebro del futuro" de Wayne Boring & Stan Kaye, 2. "El caso del joven reportero" de Wayne Boring & Stan Kaye y 3. La policía femenil de Metropolis de Al Plastino. La primera aventura fue reeditada en el LIBRO COMIC 39/1. La segunda en el LIBRO COMIC 20/1. También este ejemplar lleva su propia portada.
El tercer ejemplar es el SUPERMAN NOVARO 110 correspondiente al ejemplar americano SUPERBOY 51 de septiembre 1956 con tres aventuras titualdas: 1. "Las vidas secretas de Superman" de John Sikela. 2. Krypro, el superperro de Superman de Curt Swan (reimpreso en el SUPERMAN FAMILY 173) y 3. "El superdinero de Villachica" dibujada por Curt Swan y que Novaro reeditó en el LIBRO COMIC 39/6. Sigue apareciendo la portada del comic de Novaro.
En el cuarto ejemplar ya no aparece la portada de la publicación original de Novaro. Aparece la aventura titulada "Paul Paxton, Alias Superman" dibujada por Al Plastino en 1956, reeditada por Novaro en el LIBRO COMIC XXIII/5 y correspondiente al ejemplar americano ACTION COMICS NO. 213 de febrero 1956.
Finalmente el quinto ejempar tampoco tiene la portada del cuaderno de Novaro y se corresponde con el SUPERMAN NO.90 en su edición americana de junio 1954, reeditado por Novaro en su colección LIBRO COMIC NO.12/4. Las tres aventuras del interior son: 1. "Superman se retira" de Al Plastino.(LIBRO COMIC 12/4); 2. "El pasado secreto de Superman" de Al Plastino (LIBRO COMIC 12/5) y 3. "Los hurtos increibles" de Wayne Boring & Stan Kaye. (LIBRO COMIC 12/6).
We present the cover of a reprinted volume by the Mexican Editorial Novaro. This kind of reprinted volume was used to publish rests of several Superman series, using as a cover its own edition of SUPERMAN 124 (NOVARO) corresponding with the American issue ACTION COMICS #216 May 1956 drawed by artists Curt Swan & Stan Kaye, in the adventure entitled "The Supermenace of Metropolis" (curiously, the same title as the one in SUPERMAN #134/1). The adventures inside are from the best age in the Editorial Novaro Group, presided by Luis Novaro, in its editiona named "Ediciones Recreativas S.A." distributed in Spain by "Queromón Editories" from Madrid. You can observe that in the left upper corner there no simbols. In the ordinary editions, you can see in this corner the letters "ER" from "Ediciones Recreativas".
