Titano Vs. Titano

TITANO: At the begining a chimpanzee of a zoo named Toto. Sent in a satellite that collides with two radioactive metorites, one of uranium and another of Kryptonite. When he returns to Earth is transformed in a gigantic ape that emit Kryptonite radiations. Because of a strange fixation, he is docile with Lois Lane. First appearance in SUPERMAN NO.127 in February 1959. I have selected these two covers because they are similar. Both of them present Titano sending Kryptonite rays against Superman. The first cover is from SUPERMAN NO.127 FEB 1959 by Curt Swan & Stan Kaye featuring inside three stories entitled: 1. "When There Was No Clark Kent" by Curt Swan & Stan Kaye. 2. "The Make-Beleive Superman" by Wayne Boring & Stan Kaye and 3. "Titano, the Super-Ape" by Wayne Boring & Stan Kaye. The second cover is from SUPERMAN NO.138 JULY 1960 by Curt Swan & Stan Kaye, with the following thre stories: 1. "Titano the Super-Ape" by Wayne Boring & Stan Kaye, 2. "Superman's Balck Magic" by Al Plastino and 3. "The Mermaid from Atlantis" by Wayne Boring & Stan Kaye. TITANO: En un principio chimpancé de un zoo llamado Toto, enviado en un satélite que colisionó con dos meteoritos radioactivos, uno de uranio y otro de kryptonita. Cuando vuelve a la Tierra es de un tamaño enorme y por los ojos emite radiaciones de kryptonita. Por una extraña fijación, es dócil con Lois Lane. Primera aparición en SUPERMAN NO.127 de Febrero 1959. He seleccionado estas dos portadas por que son parecidas. En ambas se presenta a Titano enviando rayos de Kryptonita contra Superman.
