Presentamos las colecciones de Superman relacionadas por meses con la presentación de algunas de sus portadas. Dentro de cada equipo creativo, como siempre, el primer nombre corresponde al guionista y el siguiente al dibujante a lápiz y a continaución el entintador. Los equipos creativos de los dos primeros meses de este año son los mismos que los del año anterior, pero en el mes de marzo hay un cambio que sólo durará ese mes con la Saga en tres ejemplares "Strange New Visitor", cambiando nuevamente en el mes de abril, con la particularidad de que también cambia el tipo de papel usado, brillante y más fino, de manera que los cuadernos, teniendo el mismo número de páginas abultan menos. Pero no sólo eso, sino que también comienza la Saga "Godfall" y cada cuaderno lleva dos historias, la de la saga, que continua de un número a otro y otra historia independiente de tipo retrospectivo con equipo creativo distinto. Otra novedad es que en el mes de mayo finaliza la serie Supergirl de Peter Davis. Poniendo el cursor sobre la portada, aparece el nombre de su dibujante. Los títulos de la serie Birthright aparecen en portada. Haciendo click en la portada del Superman 201 la verás a mayor tamaño y al lado del Action Comics 1 original con la posibilidad de leer éste si lo deseas. Con el Action Comics 814 de Junio se celebra el 67 aniversario de la aparición de Superman en el mencionado Action Comics 1 de Junio 1938 y este año no se celebra con un número extraordinario sino con el comienzo de una nueva etapa.

67 Aniversario de Superman

Clark Kent va en el metro de Metropolis hablando por el móvil con Lois Lane cuando unos atracadores les piden a los pasajeros que pongan las manos en alto. Clark se levanta sonriente pero casi no le dejan hablar y con un empujón lo lanzan fuera del tren saliendo al romperse la pared de cristal del mismo y cayendo al vacío ya que en ese momento pasaba por una zona elevada. Al caer se cambia a Superman y aparece rápidamente dentro del metro frente a los atracadores. Le dice al cabecilla que se rindan, éste duda y amenaza con disparar a una pasajera y en en un visto y no visto Superman arremete contra él y lo saca del metro regresando en menos de un segundo frente al resto de atracadores que se rinden y ven a su compañero encima de un rascacielos viendo que Superman no ha matado a su jefe como ellos creían. Poco después llega como Clark a las oficinas del Daily Planet y se encuentra su puesto de trabajo ocupado por otro. Al preguntar le dicen que hable con Perry White, pero éste no está y le dicen que espere una hora. Clark se sienta en la entrada pero sale rápidamente como Superman pues un coche conducido por una señora con sus dos hijos pequeños peleándose en la parte de atrás se ha salido de la calzada de uno de los puentes de Metropolis, los salva y regresa al Daily Planet como Clark y le dicen que ha de esperar una hora más a Perry White. Se vuelve a sentar pero tiene que salir como Superman pues en medio de la ciudad ha irrumpido, procedente de Apokolips, Darkseid con sus parademonios. Darkseid le comunica en tono despectivo a Superman que Doomsday ha adquirido inteligencia y se puede presentar en cualquier momento. Superman le dice que no quiere verle por Metropolis ni a él ni a sus parademonios. Darkseid le desafía y en menos de un segundo Superman da un puñetazo a Darkseid y envuelve a todo los parademonios expulsándolos de Metropolis. Lois Lane le pregunta a Perry White si ya ha hablado con Clark y al decirle que no, le dice que comprenda que es su marido y que la pone en un compromiso. Perry le dice que no se preocupe que ha dado la orden a todo el personal de que no le cuenten a Clark nada acerca de su trabajo. Kent llama a Lois por el móvil y ella pone la excusa de que no se podrán ver en la noche porque le ha salido un trabajo urgente y al preguntarle cómo ha ido el día, Clark le contesta: "Nada especial, simplemente otro día en la oficina".
